Who we are

This site is run by Vita Media Productions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14892076), based in London. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at info@vitaproductions.co.uk or on +44 7417 456476.

What we collect

• When you ask for a quote: your name, your email address or phone number, and what you tell us about your plans (the kind of work, the date, the place, your budget and any notes).
• When you message us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone: your contact details and what you send us.
• When you book us: the details we need to do the work and send invoices, such as your name, address and payment records.

We don’t ask for more than we need, and we never ask for card or bank details through this site.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote, because you’ve asked us to.
• To plan and deliver the work you book, and to keep the records the law requires, such as invoices.
• We don’t use your details for marketing, and we don’t sell or share them with anyone for theirs.

Who else sees it

Only the services we use to run the business, and only as far as they need to: the email service behind info@vitaproductions.co.uk, Hostinger, which hosts this site, and WhatsApp if you message us there. If you’re booked with us and agree to it, we may also share your details with people working on your project, such as a second camera operator or sound recordist.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. For work we’ve done, we keep invoices and business records for six years, as UK tax rules require, and project files for two years in case you need copies.

Cookies and what this site stores

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn’t use analytics. It saves two small things in your own browser, which never reach us: whether you’ve already seen the opening film on the home page, and the answers on the quote form if you leave before sending it, so you don’t have to start again.

Some pages show content from other services, which have their own privacy policies: the Spotify player on song pages, links that open YouTube, and the typeface, which loads from Google Fonts. Spotify and YouTube may set their own cookies if you play something.

Your photos and films

If we film or photograph you, we only show that work on this site, in our showreel or on social media with the client’s agreement. Ask us at any time and we’ll take something down.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
